It's too hard to get permissions to do anything. I can't trade forex, or go short on stocks. I'm concidering switching to another broker because of this. Other than that I have not had any problems using Interactive Brokers. I really like the interface and it's really fast regarding to placing, cancelling and filling orders. Please do something about the permissions.

I really like the integrations that TradingView has. It's probably the best tool out there for trading with various platforms that haven't developed their own technologies. Having said that, it can sometimes be confusing for beginners and there are improvements can that can be made. That's particularly true for automations and scripts. I'm a free user right now, but definitely considering becoming a paid user.

They have decent fees, but they aren't as low as their site advertises. Past that, their customer service is TERRIBLE, they keep deposited money locked up for longer than any other broker I've seen, their UI is inferior, and they over-complicate just about everything (it might be geared towards professional traders or institutions).

I can not trade futures, forex, or indices via trading view with interactive brokers. It is not at all what I expected since I signed up for interactive brokers through trading view. You can only trade these things through interactive brokers only and their platform is harder to navigate than trading view. I can however trade stocks via trading view with interactive brokers and that is why I gave them 2 stars. They are ok but not the best.
