When will the music stop ?
Will the music stop?

Answer : I don't know else I will be talent hunt by the investment banks and earning 6 figures income and driving that flashy car down the road, haha.

Trillions of dollars have been pumped to prop up the stock market and those who are rich , ultra rich type can borrow money , lots of money cheaply a decade ago and scoop up properties , stocks and pay peanuts interest. That is the power of leverage and having a large capital base.

Try 1% return on a 1,000,000 capital vs 1% return on a 1000 small account. The latter will require a longer time frame to compound the interest to ever reach that former size.

Now, we know why the income disparity is getting wider.

Are the central banks running out of tools to further prop up the stock market ? I mean, seriously how low or how much negative can the market absorb ? Corporates are basically using these cheap money loaned to them not to innovate their business but use it to do shares buyback, pushing the price even higher.

All good things must come to an end. Even the highest mountain has a peak that man, with steel determination and guts and training can conquer it some day. How about the stock market ?

Will this covid-19 virus be the straw that broke the camel's back ?

Beside combating this nasty virus that is affecting every other country and media is strewn with travel ban, reporting number of death or new cases, what's new now ?

Maybe, President Trump election in Q3 will help push the stock market if he gets re-elected ?

Yet, the controversies continue as stocks are reaching all time high, gold is breaking records and so is the US dollar.

It would be convenient to put the blame on the trillions of dollars pumped into the market but if it is not the latter, why is the market cycle of 7-8 years bull followed by bears not happening now ?

Again, I don't know but I think it is wise to be mentally prepared for it so that when it comes, we are psychologically ready to ride with the trend. That means sharpening my short selling skills, practising more than before , getting the physiology and mental fit to execute the trades without hesitation. Sell high , buy low - this will be the new chant for 2020 and beyond.

Of course, since the bullish trend remains intact, there is no panic as yet but we know from past experiences, the price action can be fast and furious without much warning and before we know it , it is too late to enter and suffer the backlash of a correction. Like firing a rifle with live rounds, you practise your drills of breathing, holding the weapon and firing blanks to simulate the experience. Once the body, mind and soul are aligned, then you can be fit to go to the battle.

Are you battle ready , my friends ?
