What is trending? Oh you know..., simply EVERYTHING.

Praised be Guglamesh, great lord of trading, devourer of FOMOers. Whaaat's trending? Eeeeeverything.
The sacrifices must have worked. The us dollar broke out of its sideways of boredom (which let me reiter started nearly the very day I started my 2 months trading challenge, and lasted? You guessed it, 2 months!).
The last week of July my watchlist had 3 tickers in it... 3. Last week which was less boring had 6. Now it has 15.

The US dollar has not had a sideways since the first half of 2014, and in 2018 it already spent half the year in sideways/uncertainty.
I hope this does not become a habit... Ok at least these past 2 months I learned alot, and if it happens again I will be able to make some profit,
maybe not my best winrate, but I should be able to find a few good trades.

And this is what happened in 2014 with EURUSD after DXY broke:

EURUSD broke out of its 2 months sideways that started the day I started my 2 months trading challenge (you CANNOT make that up...)

AUDUSD same story, but I would wait a couple of days.
There should be so much moving next week I do not need to take every trade, unlike the horrible past 2 months.

GBPUSD, same. Short it if possible.

NZDUSD pretty correlated to EUR and GBP hence, bearish too:

About the other majors...
USDJPY and USDCHF not really trending yet. The "safe" currencies Yen Swiss franc to strong lol. USDCAD not confirmed yet, not as juicy an opportunity.

The Yuan? That bearish divergence does not matter lol. I would not bet against the US dollar now.

Most, or all of the exotic USD pairs I watch are kinda sideways, with a pump past 2 daily candles. Since the trend is not confirmed and I do not want to get overwhelmed with trades, I am ignoring them...
Special mention for the Turkish Lira....
Up 20% in a single day... Good thing I had a tight stop and small sizing... Gosh this could have gone so wrong. ALWAYS set a stop loss just in case.

--- Minors ---
Most of the Euro crosses are going down sown.

EURJPY dump, but I will wait for MA20 and MA50 to cross (the light blue and thick red lines)

I will watch EURCHF that I got stopped on shorting it too soon :}
Just give me a nice retrace next week...

EURCAD, going long if it gets more bullish divergence

GBPJPY mega bearish.

GBPCAD, well I had a post about that one.

GOLD
Waiting for it to reverse. Shall I get lucky and it drops, with more RSI divergence, insta going long asking questions later.

Silver in sideways now, but I expect continuation anytime (maybe that is what they said 2 years ago before it spent 2 years sideways).
Copper is in the same boat, but I am not watching it.

Oil went bearish, then it spiked up as USD had its bull break... I will watch it, but will not trade.

Crypto... Ok crypto was not supposed to just drop like this. We just flew below all MA'S with no bounce, MA20 is still way above MA50...
I am not convinced we simply go down now.

There is a little bit of bullish divergence, so there is hope for a little bounce. Please.

I really just hope crypto would have 1 last little bounce to let me short it before falling.

Actually Bitcoin...accounts getting destroyed did not stop greedy traders from overcutting support again.
Heh, I guess even if they blow up hundred of millions, no worries, there is socialised losing.
Let's share the burden, let us share our assholes and take it together. Fking incredible market...

Special mention: Soybean. Only 1 comment "HAHA!"

Ok personal notes for this week.

Either going
- With the trend (Either against the short term trend but with the higher TF trend, or against the very short trend with short term and higher TF trend)
- Against trend signs of weakening/bottoming.

Scaling will follow such rule:
* With the trend = 3-1-1 (ex 15k - 5k - 5k)
* Against the trend = 1-2-1 (ex 5k - 10k - 5k)

This is it, either this week or next one I will see if all this research and patience paid off... Holidays are not over yet, but does not matter.

Silver and gold started dumping after a while in consolidation or slowly going down.

I am tempted to go long on gold soon since:
A) It bounced on every level.
B) Right below 1200 is going to be where alot of people placed their stops.
C) Buy the dip!

Comment:
I think 6 red weeks in a row with gold is the record, at least since its ath.

Trade active:
Long on gold

Comment:
So far it looks just like any of the other times.
I did not trade these wins. Why would it not repeat the same thing when I take the trade?

Comment:
I really hope I take a loss on gold so I can complain about my luck.
We are already mid august and still all we get is uncertainty, 0 clear trends.

USD broke and stuff seems like it might go somewhere, but it probably takes 2-3 weeks to manifest itself, by then the month will be over.

Yeah, August is going to be as shit as July.

By then I will have a new slave affectation, and I probably won't be able to trade at all even with my phone. Oh it's going to be cancer.

Ok let's sum up.

So I took 2 trades. 1 I entered too low & SL too low GBPUSD I got barely stopped.
EURUSD I shorted and it is still doing sideway shit.

2 alerts this night, I have a shit job that makes me lose money and I didn't put alerts loud, missed out on both, and of course both were instant big wins.

I just use the beep beep one, if it ruins my sleep I'll skip work until they fire me idgaf about their stupid rules.
I thought it was loud enough...
What kind of bad luck is this?
I've been unbelievable unlucky for 1 month.
Why won't they fucking fire me???

If it's not enough I go premium to get sms alerts too.

I CANOT FUCKING BEHDJLLIEVE THIS ITS INSANE ITS UNBELIEVABLE. HOW DO I KEEP MISSING WINS AND TAKING LOSES?
Comment:
They are still going hard XD

At first I did not like getting fucked in the ass, but I am starting to develop a taste for it.

I hope every thing drops 10% EXCEPT EURUSD that goes way up, oh man that would be perfect, oh yes slap me with your whip I love it so much when it hurts.

Comment:
The beep beep alert is probably too violent.
Going to use a strong alert but not too brutal now, and also saw theme for 10 minutes with sms.

If that doesn't make me move my butt I don't know what will.
Are trading view alerts actually ringing?

If I wasn't so sleep deprived because of work I wouldn't have that issue.

Alert AND sms that rings for 10 min has to wake me up.

In a couple of months I'll get tired of going to work to lose money and just quit.
Comment:
How angry I got when I saw I got stopped on GBP & missed 2 winners.
But well I optimised my system. Had this a few times, with gold twice.
I am pretty tired of optimising, I want to start profiting now.

Saw a guy in the train I think he was saying he works as a trader.
With luggage, yeah you better go home and get back to trading boy.

If I do not get a decent win on EURUSD (went big there too), I'll be so mad.
All eyes on 1.136-1.137, will the low get taken out?
I hope so, and when it does, weeeeee!
Comment:
Euro dumping as it should...
Locked in profit at at 0.5% drop.

I am relieved. Still pretty frustrated but at least my TA still works, I only had a few technical difficulties, and not enough time to look at every detail, this can be easilly corrected.

Comment:
And how are the other trades I missed going? :)

Comment:
I am attending Pepperstone webinar XD
10 tips how to trade.

1 hour late of course, as usual.
Comment:
Oh there is a correlation between the RAND and gold because SA is a big producer :D

I wonder if there is a correlation between RUB & NGas.

Why does the speaker have a profile on CNBC?
www.cnbc.com/kathy-lien/

Idk if I can trust someone associated with "them".

I am waiting for CNBC to make a "How to buy Tether" evening soon.
