I have been bearish on AA since last week. I am still biased to the short side on this stock. The internals continue to go lower with the price confirming its' moves. I'll be watching this at the open to see how the market reacts. If the market breaks 8.40 again then I will look for a short. However the stock can correct further up to the linear regression line. If it makes a run at the regression line near $9, it will be important to see how it reacts at this level.
