I thought this was interesting so I downloaded daily prices for AAPL back to Sep 1984. From then to now that method would have wielded 817 wins and 654 losses. If you had bought and sold 100 shares every time you would have made $2,798. The max win was $44.41 per share and the max loss was $46.49 per share.
