Cycle length - isn't that identified as no of days from peak to trough or peak to peak? In either case, those periods will vary. Can you provide an example of "cycle length"? Thanks.

And what can you derive from the fact that AAPL price twice touched your 165 SMA ?

Well there's a calculation for the perfect moving average which is : (Cycle lenght/2)+1
