No need to re-invent the wheel here. That volume should send a crystal clear message.

greens are pretty inferior compared to red ones, so it suggests a fall
still don't base your trade on volume only

That volume is bigger because there was a stock split.

Yeah i think so too, not because the stock split is making people trade it more, but because you get more from buy each stock and receiving a dividend. Plus that dividend is making people more likely to go long than short.

No, it is because when there is a stock split there are more shares trading, so the volume rises. It is as simple as that

Oh, the volume is not adjusted to how many shares are traded?

It shows exactly how many shares are trading. If there is a stock split, obviously there will be more shares so the volume rises

Those volume candles don't neccesarily look 7x bigger than the previous ones to me

Look at the link I attached, the volume looks normal, the screenshot was taken last night. Before last night, I last checked the apple chart on thursday, and on thursday the volume looked exactly like on the chart posted by fibline. Don't you see the difference in volume?

Yes i understand there's a difference between the two charts in terms of volume. But what is your point?

My point is that I have the correct volume, while this is the wrong volume and it doesn't mean anything.

So fibline's volume is wrong? How is that possible? Also, that means the volume is adjusted to how many shares there are then.
