AAPL: Gap or Fill

108
AAPL is down hard after earnings, and today I am not using the normal PD-15 box.

This is an earnings gap day, so the usual PD-15 range is scratched. The PD-15 box came from yesterday’s final 15-minute candle, but price is now trading too far away from that area for it to be useful today.

Yesterday’s PD-15 box:
- PD-15 High: 334.75
- PD-15 Low: 332.28

AAPL is trading near the 307 area premarket, which puts price almost $27 away from that box. That means I’m not looking for a normal PD-15 break and retest today.

Different situation. Different framework.

Today, I’m using the actual premarket range instead.

Gap-Day Premarket Box:
- Premarket High: 313.56
- Premarket Low: 306.33

For today, the plan is built around whether AAPL breaks down below the premarket low for a gap-and-go move, or reclaims the premarket high for a possible gap-fill attempt.

Gap-and-Go Put Plan:
If AAPL closes a 2-minute candle below 306.33 with R.Vol at 1.0x or higher, then retests and confirms bearish, I’ll watch for downside continuation.

Put targets:
- 303.24 = Put TP1
- 301.32 = Put TP2
- 298.23 = Put TP3

Gap-Fill Call Plan:
If AAPL closes a 2-minute candle above 313.56 with R.Vol at 1.0x or higher, then retests and confirms bullish, I’ll watch for upside continuation.

Call targets:
- 316.65 = Call TP1
- 318.57 = Call TP2
- 321.66 = Call TP3

Full Gap-Fill Level:
- 333.43 = Prior Close

The prior close is the full gap-fill level, but I’m treating that as a multi-day reference, not an automatic same-day target.

For me, the plan is simple:
Below 306.33, I’m watching gap-and-go puts.
Above 313.56, I’m watching gap-fill calls.
Between those levels, I’m staying patient.

PD-15 is not the tool today because price gapped too far away from the box. Today’s actual premarket high and low matter more.

I’m not predicting. I’m waiting for agreement.
