Earnings Per Share AI (EPS AI)

Apple Inc.NASDAQ

Description

I know that this indicator has been out for a while. I just thought I would publish an idea so that people who follow my ideas will notice this.
This indicator can be accessed by ANYONE by searching in the public indicator library located at the top of your chart.

Introduction

This fundamental indicator uses machine learning to predict the next Earnings Per Share ( EPS ) figure.
The algorithm learns from previous figures in order to more accurately predict the next.

As time continues, this indicator will become more accurate as it learns from an increased amount of data from earnings results.

When the Future Projected EPS is positive, the line will appear green. When the Future Projected EPS is negative, the line will appear as red and sit below the EPS .

In this instance, using the example above, we can deduce that the future EPS for the annual report of AAPL should be somewhere close to $15.90. However, we all know
that they will be severely impacted by the economic climate caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and so the actual result is likely to be far lower than the outcome predicted by the machine learning.

Settings Panel

The settings panel contains two tick-boxes.
Quarterly Earnings: When selected, the EPS and future projected EPS will utilise quarterly results. Yearly results are used by default.
Diluted EPS: When selected, the Diluted EPS and future projected Diluted EPS will be utilised. Basic EPS is used by default.

Indicator Utility

The EPS AI can be utilised on every securities instrument and time-frame.
This indicator has been built in Pinescript V4 and will operate in real-time.

Enjoy!

@GrantPeace , this is awesome - thank you for sharing.. i was looking for something like this.
quick question / comment
- now that we have the forecasted EPS - can we include / calculate the foretasted (or fair) stock price level?
- i added to a chart, changed to Qtrly setting - i see 2 numbers for the current Qtr (Q2) but that's not Q2 Fcst, right.. these are Q1 fcst vs Q1 actual EPS, where is Q2 fcst ?
- script gives error in TF's lower than daily. guess that's a bug
- i suggest you rename the script to make it easier to find .. i suggest to spell out "Earnings Per Share EPS AI" so it shows up in search :)

thanks again
