Strongly Consistent Ledger: this mean dat when one node observe a block they all observe it, it mean network cant be partittty and can't fork. cardano need to wait before transaction can be confirmed for a few blocks up to "k" where "k" is a security paramurtur of da network. algorand need only one block to achieve finality. cardano similar to btc in da sense dat da ourboros can forka worka. really loses on that front.
Staking Pools: this mean that u have to delegate your coin to a stake pool to get staking, coin like cardano, eth 2.0, tezos, they all use stake pool. algorand uses pure proof of stake so as long as u gots an address u get rewards. very cool and easy to use.

Wallet: algorand doesnt have desktop wallet, cardano has crappy dedalus wallet but its not dedalus wallet fault, its cardano fault, every node on cardano need to be a full node and store entire ledger, so big L. that means size requirements grow and there no fast ketchups, algorand wallets are small cuz they never need to download the whole chain and can use fast ketchups, but disadvantage is no desktop wallet
