all hail king fib: where to unload this dusty old bag

Cardano / US DollarBinance

Description

it continues to amaze me how this pair sticks to the fib channel levels like glue. the 1.618 extension
, so, if it ain't broke...

i've been accumulating ADA for a few years now, and hoping to finally unload some later this year. basically looking for targets anywhere along the 1.618 extension. any time price touches that line, i'm selling. i'm expecting a continued rally in anticipation of the smart contracts update (9/12). if not, it'll get there eventually, and i'm perfectly happy sitting on my stash until it does.

i'm never selling all my ada, and i plan on accumulating again after i sell.

also not looking for any entry here, unless price dips all the way down to the $1.55-$1.60 support zone.

IMO - the price will follow BTC which is going to have a dip.

Long term, this coin could go to $100 - given time.

I am holding and do not intend to sell.

I keep some of all the coins I have bought. Even crap coins. I had 10 million WIN. Sold out, but kept 45k back and I will just leave them - who knows, it 10 years they might be worth $10 each.
We have all seen this happen.

July 2010, Bitcoin was $0.08 - yes, 8 cents. 11 years later !!! $45000. OK, a unique case, but it does demonstrate unknown potential.

@esorlegin, I agree in general that most alts will follow BTC, but i think there are exceptions, especially when BTC isn't being particularly decisive (take a look at SOL over the last week - while BTC has been reversing, SOL has gone 2x and making new ATHs every day). if BTC crashes hard, sure, ADA will have a hard time staying afloat. but if BTC is ranging or retracing naturally, i think some alts can certainly go against the grain.

i have a similar strategy for long term investing/holding. i hang onto a small percentage of almost every trade i make (even losers), with few exceptions. i'd rather accumulate crypto than USD. and when I do sell for USD, i never sell all of it (usually not more than 50%ish) unless I have good reason to believe the price of a particular coin will never recover.
