There are 3 types of trends, up-trend, down-trend and n-trend. Currently bitcoin is in no-trend as it has a higher high and lower low. It is for this reason that I am more focused on shorting the other markets in the top-10 that have great down trends.
Actually. There are 3 types of trends. Major, intermediate, minor. Up or down depends on the market and the N trend I have never heard of :)

@ChartsOnTime, You are right on the number that's for sure haha. I just focus on direction because it's what's important since I have 3 options as a trader. I can buy, sell or do nothing. Now you can see what I use the 3 I use haha
