Isn't this how markets have been working since....forever? Businesses make a choice, that choice effects them. In this case, his company hade made the choice to accept bitcoin and then choose to stop. Do you expect all company's to 'wait' for the best time to announce their decisions that might effect you and your trades? I honestly can't see what he did wrong here. It's his business, why should he wait? If he needs to consider EVERYONE before making a decision to remove something from his company, then Tesla wouldn't be what it is today.

You can't impose fault on one single person for this. These other people made THEIR choice to sell, he didn't tell them to do that in one way or another. If he did, then I would be 100% on your side.
It's highly unfortunate Tesla will no longer accept bitcoin. I had a goal to buy a tesla and more solar panels from my trading earnings after a year(ambitious I know, i mine for trading funds). It'd be sweet if the choose ADA as an accepted payment method next. VET is meant for businesses, IIRC, so that'd also be another one that I'd be down with.

@FX_Professor_88, He's a business, he sells cars, solar panels, batteries, etc. They are suppose to take money, right? How was taking their money wrong? He didn't take it in promise of more bitcoin, he took it on the fact he was then selling his cars for bitcoin. He lived up to that while they were able to, and now the company will not accept it anymore.
How is this a problem? How is it manipulation?
Also, the US gov. hates...HATES crypto and I suspect they quitely spoke with him.
You can't blame him for how others sold. Speculation of manipulation is speculation still. I support you in find out that he did this on a factual basis. Get him to admit he did it to drive the price down and you've won me over.

I got more Cardano right at the 1.50 price last night. Thanks for the Nano tip! I've been working on a farm (an actual farm) and I need to check out Chia, which is proof of time and space and mining "farming" is based on plots on storage devices and is supposedly also very good from a sustainability standpoint.
