got caught in morning trading halt, which stopped me out at .11 cents. Lost $2000 on 100 shares. Any counsel on how to avoid this? I suspect it was my stop loss that triggered the .11 sale, even though it was placed at 15 dollars.

@techwrite, I usually put stop loss where the stock goes off-trend, it may hurt sometimes more but if the stock is playing within your trend doesn't make any sense to put stop loss for healthy pullbacks.

@Lucky671, Good point. I think, yes, once it moves of planned course, then simply stop it. There are safe stocks, but little return I can find on them, since there volatility is so low.
