Fundamentally, I think the SOX index, which is the semiconductor sector of which AMD stock is within, will have a good year this 2016.
Technically, I entered a technical trade in AMD around $2. targeting $4.71 or higher. I may possibly hold it for longer in case it develops into a new full blown trend.

I am also confident as an amature trader and an amd fan, it wll a great year for amd vs intel. 4.71 is a little high? $4 is more likely even tho they launch there flagship proccessor this year which is a lot more competative to intels stuff.
