AMD. Make a move Short

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.NASDAQ

Description

Graph is showing a lot of bearish indicators. Cant say for sure when it will correct but due to the low volume, we can expect at least a correction at $40.

@nucleolus you’re welcome.

Simple questions:

1.

What will you do if INTC (Intel) beats, raises, and signals a cyclical bottom, during their EARNINGS CALL ON JANUARY 23RD?

Please expand on this idea of yours, and explain to everybody HERE what happens to AMD stock if INTC does this and goes parabolic? AMD stock goes to $75.

2.

What will you do if INTC (Intel) misses, lowers, and signals a cyclical bottom (they will no matter what you know they will lie), during their EARNINGS CALL ON JANUARY 23RD?

Please expand on this idea of yours, and explain to everybody HERE what happens to AMD stock if INTC does this and TANKS? AMD stock goes to $75. Why? Because they missed, because AMD is driving them out of business.

SO FOR THE LOVE OF MATHEMATICS, PROBABILITY AND COMMON SENSE, HOW DOES YOUR IDEA ACTUALLY WORK?

@drchelsea1,

I tell you what. Please post the time and quantity of the AMD stock you short, and when you cover. I will DONATE, the exact of money you LOSE, to the WORLD VISION. I will post the receipt on this forum.

Do it. Please do it.

@drchelsea1, Im not here to hold your hand. This is a simple analysis.

AMD could be consolidating at this level. And we're still in bull market until otherwise. A correction would be healthy but its not up to me what the stock does.
Board members don't have good reason to exaggerate about their earnings but if they do, maybe theyll think about scalping at 75 but bonuses would also suffice.

And I dont think I need to explain to you about human psychology and subjectivity just as you can do your own fundamental analysis and share your own ideas.

Whether I shorted or not doesn't matter. If I did short and you donate what I lose to this "World Vision" of yours, then you should donate the many others who shorted it. Whether it matters, I buy and sell break outs and dips in a bull market. And sometimes, an idea is just an idea. Dont stress yourself out over this one.

@quantacake, Interesting rebuttal. Thank you. You will be a customer for sure. You will then be profitable. Take care.

@drchelsea1,

See in your post title "AMD. Make a Move". This denotes that you don't know what move it is going to make. I am not sure that "Make a Move AMD" constitutes an idea. I think it is a command. I think you are talking to AMD stock, like it will respond to your will or your commands. This is a reactionary trading strategy. This is a "take a position" and "take a loss when it turns against me to my tight stop". This trading strategy will result in the repetitive behavior that results in the decrement of your trading capital.

Here is the difference between you and I, "You guess where the stock is going by saying AMD - Make a move", "I own the stock, and know it is going higher." You see, my strategy is mathematically superior and your strategy heads towards extinction. You see all living organisms and systems must approach either perfection, or extinction, the human race will evolve until we reach an evolutionary state of pure energy, or we will become extinct in the process. You my friend, have a very high mathematical probability of becoming extinct.

@drchelsea1,

At this point I would suggest that you rename your account from @quantacake to @Ele, or maybe @Raphuscucullatus, I like that one, or how about we rename you to @Thylacine, or simply go with @Dodo, cause that is easier to type.

@drchelsea1,

And for 2 years on this board your reputation is not commensurate mathematically in relation to the number of ideas you have published, your score, and non existent followers. I think it is time for you to change your strategy all around my friend. You know “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results". I don't think you suffer from mental illness, unless trading losses and options accounts blow ups are outlined in the DSM-V?

@drchelsea1,

So anytime you wish to chime in, I am waiting for you. I think we should discuss trading, artificial intelligence, quantitative analysis, and you can impress all of us with your acumen. You know I could write a program in about 3 hours that could setup an account on Trading View, get a better reputation score than you, and do it in about 2 weeks, instead of 2 years. You are extinct.
