Well unfortunately we were looking at AMD as possibly in a Broadening Descending Wedge. Which is exactly what it was. Also, the re-tests of $87.50, no support really here just $85.55 and then we have $83.11 and the bottom of the Descending Broadening at $82.50. If is breaches this, we probably end up in the high $60's, low $70. I would start legging back in at $82.50, and think at $67.50 as the final pickup spot if we get there. We were going to post this analysis as well. Also the H&S on the daily at $85.55 is bad as well. We would go from $85.50 to $70 based on the charts. We collared our position at $94 many times, and we always suggest risk management. Last few calls were "false breakouts". They never reached the 5 percent confirmation. Stock always did break out in our direction. Just came right back down each time.

Let's face it, AMD has much better products, the door is open to take market share, and the lack of supply of chips when the opportunity or window is open is killing the perception of this company. Price is perception based unfortunately, and the flow of money into this stock has dried up. We have entered a period where the market's perception of the PE being too high for AMD is harming share price appreciation to say the least. I may re-enter when the stock hits the high to mid 70's. Oh well. "

UPDATE - FEB 24 2021
After NVDA reports earnings after the close and "Addresses the Chip Shortage, with LIES as only Jensen Wing Wong can, AMD will be heading higher".
Once AMD gets back above $87.50 and out of the "AMD Purchase Zone" Is it:
WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER YET AGAIN!!

The Dr.'s AMD mojo seems to be long gone. The last 3-5 predictions are 0 -fers. If there is a Bullish reversal in this carnage I am curious when that begins? After the stock bottoms in the 70's? @ambler1 every day there is a ‘reached bottom look for reversal’ post. It’s clearly in a descending channel. At some point it will break out, but I’m glad I bailed on this stock as well.

@ambler1 AMD I don’t agree, AMD fundamentals are solid.AMD has been following the other tech stocks almost exactly through this dip. I still think this is a great buy opportunity.
