The more things change, the more they stay the same Short

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.NASDAQ

Description

Retracement is based on a fractal.

For the record, I don't think fundamentals matter much at this point - it's mostly news, rumours and FOMO. Brings back memories of the crypto bubble, huh?

The only thing I don't like about this is how crowded the shorts are.

seriously , I'd be happy if it does gets to 35 again , but after about 800% I still wish of same . There only so many players in it's field , new products from company and co-op with Microsoft plus next one for IBM on Summer time , I see not much of this company , but buy the dip and trim profits wisely , works for me anyhow . I wont short this yet ..

lol.... ignorance in full bloom. Short away. PLEASE. "Retracement is based on a fractal ." Growth is based on emerging dominant silicon processing technology, but I am sure you have done your DD. NOT. That fractal you love so much will crush you. Research the company rather than pretty pictures on graphs.

@yahara, lol!.. your comment will not age well. I can't wait to see how they justify being worth nearly 60 B market cap and traded at almost 300x earnings next week.
FirstOne
@yahara, not so dominant since three years old intel silicon is better due to frequency and don't expect big companies to switch server tech overnight to amd since they have contracts and discounts for staying with intel that will take time, amd is due for a retracement and fanboys for a loss its a good stock to trade longs on fundamental news but nice to short too

@FirstOne, pretty funny, Epic servers are crushing Intels old tech. You must not be reading how AMD is taking significant market share in the server market. epic crushes Intel on were usage and computing units. You can continue to believer that Intel has a product to sell, or maybe listen to their own CEO talk about the real challenges they face in the server market since their technology has not aged well. Believe what you wish, but the billions flowing into AMD over the last 3 months speak otherwise. Short away. Just notice how many calls here to short AMD since December have all been massive mistakes. Do you want me to show them all to you? Yours will be just another folly when the stock crosses 60. Oh, and the short interest has been rapidly declining over the last two months, not that you would notice.
yahara
@yahara, "power usage" dumb auto correct.
Penguins83
@yahara, shorts have decreased 5%. AMD continues to earn pennies a share. The "billions" flowing into AMD mean nothing. They will continue to make pennies unless they raise their prices which they won't. This stock is extremely bloated and ready to pop. Why are you on tradingview. It's based on TA which you clearly don't understand. It doesn't matter what in most cases. Algos control markets. You're winning cause of computers and not AMD's. Ready to drop soon
