Hey, why do you call that a bull flag? I know it looks like a flag, but could you possibly let me know what in the flag am I looking at. Just when you see that kind of flag, it's a sign that it's bullish? I'm new to this, and can take all the help I can get.
@mlhmjohnson, It's a classic chart pattern which indicates a good probability of upside bullish movement. The first component is the "pole" which is the long, vertical rise of the share price in a relatively short period of time, backed by good volume. The second component is the "flag" piece which indicates consolidation within a narrow range. Profit takers are taking profit, new buyers are stepping forward to build a support base. After a while, the number of sellers decrease and the price breaks above to a new and higher "leg". Hope this helps.
@covidwinner, That's difficult to tell but if you saw the upgrades - Barclays set a $150 price tag. I'd take it with a grain of salt but at least it points sentiment in a positive direction well above your "80" hypothetical target.
@covidwinner, Got lucky - always a gamble/bet but with $INTC negative news, there was a good fundamental upside along with sentiment boost. Cheers and hope you made some profit!
