@WhiteJesus, Doge is quintessential alt season. It's the gateway alt, it's what truly made crypto click for me in 2014 cause it was so dumb and yet .. you could make money with it. It was fun and that's all it needed to be. You should thank Doge for leading the masses into crypto by being accessible, cheap and fun. When Doge wins, we ALL win.

@EasternPromises, what about when it tanks. Will we be thanking it again for spoiling the reputation of the crypto market? It’s all being pumped artificially and it’s putting the retail investors at risk. Yeah you can make some money, but these people should learn the first lesson of investing which is risk management. Putting $ in that is like jumping out of an airplane without a parachute aiming for a pool.

@WhiteJesus it's not our responsibility to teach these people. Most of them are adults capable of making their own decisions, no matter how good or bad those decisions may be.
Doge has always dumped like crazy after a pump but clearly this time it's not behaving that way. We've got masses of people at home entering crypto through doge, many of them making money and having a good time. These are people who've heard about cryptocurrency but never saw it as approachable perhaps until doge. They've seen meme stocks like GME pump and now you have for months Elon Musk pushing doge and people saying it's going to 1$.
It went to $0.45, 1$ is inevitable with the momentum it has. After that no promises. But again, it's not our responsibility to educate them.
The crypto market has way worse things than doge to affect its reputation. You just want it go down so you can be right at this point it seems, and not feel like you've missed out.
