APHRIA is under a short attack, and down 40% in two days after credible allegations have come out about fraud, stealing investors money, and dilapidated international facilities. I have no way of knowing if these allegations are true or not, the truth is probably somewhere in the middle, but the video is very damning. The short seller took a flight overseas and did boots on the ground due diligence, gave a 47 minute presentation, and took questions form the audience.
Aphria hasn't responded to the allegations and their stock price is crashing as a result, and will likely continue to until they can stand up and give credible evidence to refute the allegations.
Please watch this video, whether your in APHA or another stock in the sector, so you are aware of what's going on and make your own decisions. Keep in mind this drama is a millstone on the entire sector, and other names in the sector are having correlated bearish reactions to this problem facing Aphria.
If you have no idea if the allegations are true why do you call them credible.

@daveccharlton, I watched the video of the presentation and the speaker presented compelling evidence rather than meaningless drivel. That gives the allegations credibility but it does not mean I know for a fact I know they are true.

@jontrancanada, thanks for sharing. Like I said the truth is somewhere in the middle, but it seems funny the company isn't denying the more serious allegations. I feel a lot of sympathy for people who are holding heavy bags and if I'm able to help one person make smarter decisions and not watch their investments disappear I'll have considered this effort a success. Don't fall in love with sto k's, they won't love you back

I have no idea if the allegations are true or not but it would be irresponsible for me to pretend they don't exist. People can make up their own minds on the matter. From where I stand this drama is enough to keep me away and I'm completely uninterested in exposing myself to the headline risk
