ATVI Long-Term and Short-Term Trading Opportunity 1

Long
ricomister Updated
NASDAQ:ATVI   Activision Blizzard Inc
expect ATVI to increase in value to around $69+- Dollar in 1 month+-, hoping ATVI to increase in value to around $85+- in a year or so

I have opened a position at $63.15, position size is 1600 shares.

(I closed my long-term position at LDO temporarily, will re-buy shares once the short term position plays out here)

I have set up 2 take profits, one at $69+-+- for 600-1000 shares, the other one is a short-term investing goal of around $85+- take profit.

Stop Loss is around $50-$55+- (will be adjusted accordingly, this is just a rough stop loss).

What I find strange is... that the NASDAQ is reaching new highs as a whole, but a big company like ATVI has gone down considerably to levels similar to 2018/2019.

I think this is a golden ticket here, and yes I am leveraged on this position, 2.0+-.

(Interactive Brokers it seems, is more lenient with overnight margin requirements when it comes to ATVI, perhaps because the broker sees it as a lower risk trade?), if I do experience forced liquidations (have not received any warnings that I will), then it will be around 20% of my position which is like 320 shares that will have to be sold (unless share value increases quickly from here).

I think this "political" turmoil will pass, a concluding action will put it to an end (CEO asked to leave, etc.) and we can expect $69+-.

I am not too worried about 2 games being delayed, so long as these games don't end up being quick-money grabbers (or end up not improving on their predecessors), many indie game development companies are also posting delays or were affected by the corona virus. Yes, there is a boom in new games being developed, but I have read cases where delays were caused and attributed to the coronavirus situation by other game development companies, I see many early access games, yes, indie games are getting better, but there's this massive massive pool of "too-early-access games" that just don't sit too well and the coronavirus for small teams can have a far bigger effect.

Fundamentals still look solid, I am more certain of my short-term take-profit goal than my longer-term one though.
