AUDJPY Breaks Key Support: Will the Downtrend Continue?

137
Hello everyone, AUDJPY is showing clear signs of weakness on the H4 timeframe, as price continues to form lower highs after the sharp decline from the 114.80 area. Currently, the pair is trading around 112.40 and remains below both the EMA34 and EMA89, confirming that sellers are still in control.

What stands out is that every recovery attempt in recent sessions has quickly been sold off. This suggests that buying pressure remains weak, while market flow continues to favor short positions in line with the broader trend.

From a fundamental perspective, risk-off sentiment is supporting the JPY, while the AUD remains under pressure due to concerns over slower growth in China’s economy and weaker commodity demand.

If AUDJPY continues to hold below the 113.00–113.20 zone, selling pressure could push price toward 112.00, with the next downside target around 111.50.
