@tomhall 1 analyst claims this pair is still in a down trend. Price has been moving up since mid 2016 so for last 9 months. IYO how long would a price being going in a certain trend direction b4 it's considered a new trend.

Firstly, 2 separate traders can have opposite opinions yet both profit from the market.
Secondly, it all depends on the TF you are trading, a pair can be in a short term down trend but a long term up trend.
