Price is capped till the guard comes down and if price is released then we are dealing right away with support turned resist. However if price gets through those two then the pattern should complete fairly quickly
The amount of orders it takes to overcome a down bar or up bar creates a shift in momentum - If price is going to rise I would not want momentum to shift here with a bar that closes lower then the nearest up bar on our larger timeframes
