BAT TRADERS: POTENTIAL HUGE PROFIT GAINS IF YOU CONSIDER THIS !!

It seems that most people trading bats take the conventional 50% @ the 38.2% retracement of CD and 50% @ the 61.8% retracement of CD. Because it's what we are taught in books, what we copy from other traders, because it makes sense...?!
But is that really the case? I THINK NOT! SEE THE CHART!

Some people will be very aware of this I'm sure, but I'm also quite certain that a lot of people have never even thought this over!!

IN THE EXAMPLE ON THE CHART TAKING FULL PROFIT AT THE 38.2% RETRACEMENT OF CD YIELDS A 9.6% PROFIT GAIN BASED ON 100 IDENTICAL BAT TRADES!!

About the bat in the chart: it doesn’t matter that X is not drawn where it should be or that the SL would normally be above that high next to it or whatever…. This EXAMPLE is based on an almost ideal situation with good R/R.

I have been thinking about this for a while now but didn't have actual detailed data on bat success rates (often claimed to be 80%...??). I have therefor tried to gather additional info on the subject from the internet and from other traders. The rates I used in the example are averaged from the data I collected and from my own limited experience.

For the purpose of this analysis it doesn’t matter if I used either averaged, actual or even make belief data: it's the idea that counts!!

Some people might not gain anything by applying this (depending on their specific strategies)! But for some people extra profit gains could be as high as 15-25%!! Please note that if situations are less ideal than in this example you could potentially benefit even more!

There are obviously an infinite amount of other possible scenario's, based on an infinite amount of setups and with an infinite amount of outcomes…!! So do your own analysis based on your own data before considering changing your current trading rules!

I would really appreciate anyone with actual back- or forward tested data on bat trading to share it here or via PM, I shared my idea so please consider sharing your own idea's / data on the subject with me or even better the whole community!

There is always a chance that I've made a terrible mistake in my calculations and all of this is absolute BS, in that case please let me know so that I can go and crawl into a dark hole somewhere in shame...

My conclusion and advice for now is:
Only use the conventional TP1 and TP2 when you have no clue yet on your own success rate trading off bats!

>>> TAKING FULL PROFIT AT THE 38.2% RETRACEMENT OF CD WILL LIKELY YIELD LARGER PROFITS!!

If you do have a good view on your own success/failure rate but you haven't thought of this and you are currently still using the conventional TP’s then:

>>> RE-ANALYZE YOUR STRATEGY ASAP             , THERE'S A GOOD CHANCE THAT YOU ARE NOT MAXIMIZING YOUR PROFITS AND ARE MISSING OUT ON A LOT OF $$$$ !!

Things can seem so evident that we never even think about what we are actually doing and why we are doing it! It just shows that sometimes you have to take a step back, think out of the box and be your own, and everyone else's, critic!

I hope a lot of people read this, possibly rethink their methods and can potentially profit from it! The example in the chart yields a whopping 9.6% increase in total net profits, quite impressive and a huge extra profit potential for some traders if you ask me!!

And if you don't know what to do with those extra profits or you’re just so damn grateful that I made you realize this...: I have no conscientious objections against donations… so PM me and I'll gladly provide you with my Paypal account data...!! :-) ;-) :-)
