AUDUSD: Bears Are Tightening Control Over the Market

AUDUSD on the H1 timeframe is showing a fairly clear bearish structure, with the price consistently being pushed below the descending trendline and the Ichimoku cloud. Each upward pull lacks sustained momentum, indicating that buyers still lack the strength to change the short-term trend.

Currently, the price is fluctuating around the support zone of 0.7110 – 0.7120. This is an area where buying pressure has previously appeared, but the upward reaction has been quite weak. If this zone continues to be tested multiple times without a clear bounce, the likelihood of a break through support will increase.

The 0.7130 – 0.7140 zone is a crucial area to watch. If AUDUSD pulls up here but is rejected by the trendline and Ichimoku, selling pressure could quickly return. With the NFP release approaching, if the USD strengthens, the pair could continue to slide to lower levels.
