Early investors in AVZ have always believed that AVZ's 60% holding would be up for TO/sale once their maiden JORC had been produced. This was main assumed from the past history of Klaus Eckhoff and his dealing in the DRC. However recent social media posts have indicated that a JV option may well be considered now as an option - particular from the Huayou Cobalt Group (AVZ largest shareholder) who now desires to get Manono into production a.s.a.p
One simply has to look at KDR's share price performance since their JV announcement with SQM to see the benefits long-term shareholders stand to gain from such an option. One thing for sure, the share price is only going to go up once drilling commences this month and the JV option will only add another reason for shareholders to hold on to their shares short term.
