🔥 Will Axie Infinity Reach New All-Time Highs Ever Again? Short

AXS / TetherUSBinance

Description

AXS was the first and largest gaming based crypto. Many followed in AXS's wake (GALA, SAND, etc) but none managed to surpass it.

Plainly said, I think AXS is dying and will never recover from the current bear-market.

Taking a look at the player statistics from activeplayer.io we can clearly see that AXS is losing players for well over a year now.

Apart from players leaving the game, I've got some serious questions on why people would play this game. Is it meant to be a fun pastime (like games are supposed to be), or are the only people who are playing playing it for the money.

You're going to need real players to buy the axies from the "investor-gamers" in the end. If those real players never come, Axie Infinity will never be popular again. Furthermore, there will likely be some other game in the future that will have better prospects than some 3 year old game that no one plays (and no one makes money from).

To make matters worse, check the huge 2 year head & shoulders on the chart.

Do you think AXS will even reach all-time highs again? Is it dead? Share your thoughts below 🙏

Axie Infinity became populer during the covid lockdowns - especially in Asia and, in particulr the Philipines. Players could earn $1000 a month - and as people could not work - they played.

For some players $1000 a month was x4 their monthly wage - so they keep playing. Others went back to their normal jobs and playing time delined. Also, new games have opened up - games that are more exciting and rewarding on many levels.

I agree that AXS is done as an investment - it will be a snowbal decline that gains momentum. BUT, it is good for futures scalping.

I've been saying that Axie is going to be the next LUNA basically ever since LUNA died
And the reason is simple, their project isn't sustainable and they rely (always did) on a model that simply doesn't work long term.
So...if you can, short the hell out of it and just let it be, because I'm pretty sure that 5 years from now Axie will be long gone...
