Alibaba announced last year and have already agreed to an 8:1 stock split. This would allow the share price to be traded from the high 20's mid 30's at the split. The stock split has to take place before July 15th. When it does finally split it will help attract investors due to the low cost per share and drive the stock upwards to new highs. Ordinary shares available would jump from 4 billion to 32 billion.
Can anyone clue me in? I don’t understand where is my 8 shares to 1 I was promised ? I asked TD Waterhouse, but got no response yet.

Why isn’t no one saying why it didn’t split on the 15th..... it said it was going to... but yet it’s so difficult to find any info on the spilt for Baba.... what are we all missing?

What happened to the split? I didn't see any recent announcements/press releases or on the NASDAQ Split calendar. Any ideas?

@katkb2882, I could be wrong, but I believe this split had already taken place 2 weeks after the approval of the split back in July 30, 2019. The result of which was the ADR's were adjusted so that the ratio for 1 ADS was to 8 ordinary shares. Anyone can feel free to correct me if I am mistaken

I think it was a lie, American companies follow regulations and we believe, Chinese companies are showing the contrary. Stock split should have happened as it was published. People spend their money because we believe. Where is the fed to regulate?
