Democracy continues to work steady and strong...

Comment

For a more thorough analysis, I am sharing a list with all countries.

Comment

After a few requests, I added Ukraine, Nigeria and Iran.
I also took the opportunity to include Saudi Arabia, Italy and South Korea.

Reiterating that the data is from December 2021, so it may be out of date.

What is the difference between a country/territory’s rank and its score?
The country’s score is the perceived level of public sector corruption on a scale of 0-100, where 0 highly corrupt and 100 means very clean.

The country's rank is its position relative to the other countries in the index. Ranks can change merely if the number of countries included in the index changes.

The rank is therefore not as important as the score in terms of indicating the level of corruption in that country.

@TradingView, Thanks. I am grateful to contribute to the dissemination of knowledge in such an important and controversial area that is geopolitics. Geopolitics influences trading. Trading is not an isolated area where you only buy and only sell.

USA low corruption lmao.
staslung
Usa must be in orange zone our imao is absolutely wrong
jasonrappa
@staslung, comparatively speaking, it's actually much lower than the rest of the world.

@jasonrappa, Corruption is omnipresent. This vice is inherent to human nature. I fear the government of a nation where the press reports that there is no corruption, and even worse, a country where the press lauds their corrupt government for fighting corruption.

So long as people can openly say that government officials in the US are corrupt, I am happy to live in the US. It's when this is not the case that corruption becomes a problem.

Corporations probably pay to keep their data from being shared… or simply hide their wealth in other countries. The irony.
andre_007
@capitalwarez, Hence I don't know. I live here in Brazil, and I can tell you that from the information I have, I would not choose to live in certain neighboring countries, at least for now. But if you really think this is all a big hoax, I can't do much about it. I am aware that things are not an absolute truth. For example, I know that there are places in the US and Europe that are worse than here in Brazil. So I can't judge you either.

@andre_007, I live in Russia and have a friend from Brazil who also lives in Russia now (since 2019). He is not going to leave despite the chart that shows that situation with corruption must be worse in Russia than in Brazil.
