BTC Dominance 1D – Rising Trendline Test After Sharp Pullback

495
BTC Dominance on the 1D timeframe is currently at 59.33% after pulling back sharply from the August high near 60.40% and pressing directly into the rising trendline near 59.00–59.20% that has held every significant low since the June bottom, with the 59.33–59.40% horizontal support adding an additional layer of confluence at the same level.

The chart shows a rising trendline originating from the June low near 57.82–58.00%, connecting the July 3 low near 58.20% and the August 7 low near 58.80–58.90% before dominance recovered toward the August high near 60.40%. That trendline has been the structural floor of the dominance recovery across the entire visible period and is now climbing into the 59.00–59.20% area where current price is pressing. The horizontal level near 59.33–59.40% has been a recurring pivot through the June and July consolidation and again through August, acting as both support and resistance across multiple tests. The sharp pullback from 60.40% has been uninterrupted, dropping through 60.20%, 60.00%, 59.80%, 59.60%, and now directly into the trendline and horizontal confluence.

The prior weekly idea identified 59.00–60.00% as the key floor for dominance, and the current daily chart is showing price pressing directly into that zone with the rising trendline providing the additional structural reference. A hold here keeps the dominance recovery intact while a break below opens the path toward the scenario described in the prior idea.

Key Levels To Watch
→ 61.00–61.20% Prior high, major resistance above
→ 60.40–60.60% August recovery high, resistance
→ 60.00–60.20% Minor resistance, post-pullback reference
→ 59.60–59.80% Secondary resistance on any bounce
→ 59.33–59.40% Horizontal pivot, current support test
→ 59.00–59.20% Rising trendline, dynamic support (climbing)
→ Below 58.80% Trendline breakdown, dominance decline accelerates

A hold at the rising trendline and 59.33–59.40% horizontal confluence and a recovery back above 60.00–60.20% would confirm dominance is holding the macro uptrend structure, keeping altcoin relative performance suppressed and the dominance recovery intact.

A confirmed daily close below the rising trendline near 59.00–59.20% and a loss of 58.80% would break the trendline that has held every low since June, accelerating the dominance decline toward the 58.00–58.40% zone and reinforcing the broader altcoin season signal described in the prior weekly idea.

Rising trendline and horizontal confluence both being tested simultaneously. Hold 59.00–59.33% → dominance uptrend intact, altcoins remain under pressure. Lose trendline near 59.00% → dominance decline accelerating, altcoin rotation signal strengthening. Bias neutral at confluence. Shift bearish on dominance only on confirmed close below 59.00–59.20%.
