Bitcoin Dominance (BTC.D) To Continue Much Lower... vs Altcoins Short

Market Cap BTC Dominance, %CRYPTOCAP

Description

Remember my last BTC.D chart?

Bearish momentum is now building up.

Right now BTC.D is breaking below EMA50, a very important support level.

The RSI went below support as well and below 50.

The MACD is trending lower and almost entering the bearish zone.

The bear volume is starting to grow... Bitcoin dominance can continue to go lower... and lower it goes.

When BTC.D drops, the Altcoins grow.

It is the Altcoins turn.

Namaste.

When BTC.D drops, then Altcoins grow?......and what BTC? What happend when BTC start dump, also alts start dump?
RobRobin
@TomasKiss, The observed rule is the following:

If BTC drops, trades sideways and money stays (bull market) Altcoins go up for a short while

If BTC drops and money invested in cryptocurrency drops (bear market) Alcoins drop, bear market begins.
If BTC pump Altcoin pump but BTC tends to absorb most of the money in circulation in cryptos.

The aim of big investors is not to hold Altcoins for a long time, but only to make more money with them to buy more BTC, every wise investor tends to increase his BTC position in the end.

@RobRobin, thank you for this advice :)

@TomasKiss, my pleasure

@RobRobin, Great advice Rob! That's the general rule of thumb I follow and has been working out for me so far.

Always appreciate your view of the markets. Does the fact that bitcoin dominance will go down necessarily mean that the price will go down as well, or just that the alt coins will outpace the price of bitcoin on percentage basis and as a result make up for a larger portion of total market cap?

TIA!

@spyguy77940215, Not necessarily but most of the time yes.

Loads of exchanges happening every day. BTC ATH reached last Sunday with 71% dominance. Namaste.
