Bitcoin's dominance is squeezing near a key level. A breakout would be a good moment for altcoins to rise. Further, if the $39.6 level is broken, there will be euphoria in the altcoin market.

The key factor will be if this bull run mirrors past bull runs...so far BTCD has, albeit in a less volatile manner. If so, we're looking at an additional ~10% drop from current dominance levels. This will lead to a breakout alt season, and we'll see Bitcoin bounce back up to high 40s-low 50s once alt season ends. As bitcoin volatility declines over time it wouldn't surprise me if, before the next bull run, bitcoin finds itself in a constant 50-65% dominance flux.
