The only alternative to fiat currency is a digital currency Bitcoin. I think there will be a dialectical relationship between Bitcoin and/vs dollar (or Gold). In this way, in the case of a global economy crisis, the world can have another alternative like Bitcoin to survive. The transition from the world of tradition dominated by traditional currency (mode of production) to the real digital age needs a new currency. I guess Bitcoin has to be bullish in the long run.
