Earlier this year I posted that bitcoin was going parabolic and predicted correctly (for a very short period of time) that it had topped. Boy, was that a short term victory. I WAS WRONG, because I incorrectly identified it's price action at the time as being parabolic. It looked like it back then, but now with the benefit of hindsight, it is clear that although it was extended and did correct significantly, it wasn't truly parabolic, and therefore wasn't a final top. I believe that after the type of extreme run that bitcoin has had since, it is definitely in a parabolic rise right now. The trouble with parabolic rises, is it is almost impossible to guess how much is left in the blow off top phase. Being a huge round number that many bitcoin enthusiasts have predicted would be reached or exceeded, 10,000 seems as good as any target for this phenomena. It probably will fall just short of or just breach slightly before the inevitable correction begins. Remember, after something rises in a parabolic pattern, it always corrects close to 90%, eventually.
