With the talk about Bitcoin for the past couple of weeks, I decided to go take a look at it. Trading against the trend can be difficult without the right expectations. I saw we slowed down a little bit and started ranging. We broke structure on the 1HR time frame which signaled there could be some weakness that could be coming into the market. With the area I had planned out, it looked like I would have been filled last night but I never got that. Instead, we left that area open which left the highs intact and traded lower past my target. It wasn't until today that the entry triggered and there was some weakness that entered the market. I didn't take the trade as I felt like the probabilities diminished as we traded away from that area yesterday, but nonetheless, I still watched the set-up pan out and trade away from the entry area today which ended up hitting the target I was looking for.
