It seems to me that bitcoin is implementing an excellent and expensive marketing campaign, and this may be the reason for more rapid growth, without the big correction that we are seeing now. In any case, the picture in the near future will be seen more clearly.

The Chicago stock exchange will begin trading bitcoin in 2 months. These are huge mergers into the capitalization of bitcoins. Also 2 additional BTC forks (silver and maybe platinum). For some reason, these factors can allow bitcoin to reach 8-9-10,000$ for several months or earlier. I was waiting for the etherium and lightcoin go up, but the latest data shows that this flight can be postponed until 2018.
