you forget fullmoon on 18th
TreeTruffle
@otternose, shooooot. full moon, mercury and jupiter direct station. big day.
personally, I think the perigee and apogee of the moon is more consistently reliable to trade with rather than moon phase.

just looked it up. moon was perigee (closest to earth) 10/8 and will be farthest (apogee) 10/24

This is an epic month. Last week was freaking whoa.
garett01
can you post this from daily perspective so we can see all the way back to 2018, tview doesn't let us load much behind in a 5h chart. <3
TreeTruffle
@garett01, are you able to make the chart your own? you can see everything as I have it and adjust timeline.
garett01
@TreeTruffle, for the sine waves part on the bottom it's a bit more complicated to replicate aka I have no clue tbh. But I did some guesswork, and the issue is that overall the chart doesn't go back enough anyway its around 2020 only, and I wanted to double check the blue sine wave with the 2018 and the 2014 btc tops. Or you can just confirm it in a comment if you know it. Also I'm guessing you're calling December 3rd as the local cycle top, which aligns nicely with my Venus ephemeris data for the year.
HelioHelix
Love this, it would be interesting to see a solar cycle/sunspot layer as well since there have been studies on this as well.
TreeTruffle
@HelioHelix, ya, there was a time when I was way more ambitious about trying to program/integrate API's from NASA's JPL, ephemeris data and sine waves..... Just too much to do but I know it's worthwhile. do you have the SpaceWeatherLive app? It gives you updates to coronal holes facing earth (creating space weather variations) as well as alerts on solar flares/CMEs coming from the Sun. Back in 2018 I was on this russian sun observation site to watch for solar flares and would have it pop up whenever I opened my browser but this SpaceWeatherLive app is next level convenient and waaaayyyy worth it. Lot of astrological big evens coincide w solar activity.

for instance, this past week. Oct 9th, Mars and Mercury were both combust. combustion is a term telling about a planet that is conjunct w the sun. So on 10/9, The Sun, Mercury and Mars were all at the same degree in alignment from Earth. ALSO, Saturn was stationary direct. So a thing about retrograde planets. as a planet slows down it becomes more powerful. Stationary planets are said to be most powerful. From 10/7 to 10/12 we were having solar flares and I believe the one this past Sunday was the one that actually hit Earth. That doesn't happen often. lol

There is a chart out there depicting solar activity on a larger scale. and yes we have begun the new solar cycle after 2-3 years of a lull/low solar activity.
HelioHelix
@TreeTruffle, I haven't heard of that app but I'll check it out! Conjunct is within 10 degrees right? I know a bit about astro but only enough really to start understanding my own chart.
