Due to the continued altcoin bearmarket, BTC is in a weaker position. As long as the altcoin market is not in demand there are a lot more Bitcoins in circulation. This makes the BTC position fragile, Bitcoin will need the altcoinmarket to recover to make a sustained uptrend.
