if moving up higher a lot higher then BTC has to move above 6475

follow the pink line and this looks like its just a retest bounce ...Down.

Aha ,,i see issue Bitfinex do not show the retest bounce ,,

its easy to make a mistake with the Bifinex chart as it omits the "retest bounce" and this is a big deal as the bounce tells a lot about an assets trend We would have caught it with this chart (below) . But it just goes to show that some of the charts are misleading and double check everything ...
Are you long BTC right now, and this is where your stop loss is?

@xrpftw, i was using this graph ( below) and exited when it crossed 66xx.
now. Im waiting to see if it crosses 67xx then ill go long again.
if i was on Bitstamp that is where id set my stop loss - 6300 and wait to see if it can move above 6475.
if not and it dropped past 6300 id exit and re-enter at around 61xx
@mycotoxin, Thanks. I'm more interested in getting back into my fav coin (XRP!) but keeping an eye on BTC to help me decide when to jump onboard. XRP had this ascending wedge which broke to the downside yesterday. Just waiting to see if it moves further south it sticks around the current level (which appears to be right on a fib retracement level)

@xrpftw, i went into XRP.. im going for the .488 here .
Theres also a head and shoulders base at .488 so if XRP guns for .61( the shoulders target) im already there in the running ...if not ill exit with the .488
