Altcoins vs Bitcoin, which one is going to take over in 2018?!
Here is my opinion:
People compare bitcoin(blockchain technology) to the Internet, and if this is somewhat true then they both need to follow similar stages of the market:
1. Introduction stage - introducing the main idea to public
2. Options stage - adaptation of the idea by public
3. Winner (Winners) take(s) all (this one is obvious)
After the introduction of internet in the 90s as the age of the Internet was forming many new companies were created, but Google and Amazon were not the first ones they were the winners. Now, new successful internet-based businesses are still starting, but the giants of the Internets will be hard to replace. So, the boundary between second and third stage is never a sharp line.
Bitcoin is not the "Google" or "Amazon" of blockchain technology and it will never be, he has another role which I will get back to that. On the other hand, there are many interesting coins right now in the altcoin space, but I think none of them can be considered as the "Google" or "Amazon" of this tech industry. What do you think?!!
2018 will be the year for new start-ups in this tech, and as it goes, I believe we will see more amazing ideas. There will be ideas that are good only for the transition and creating the foundation like the ripple, and there will be ideas that they will come to stay for a long time.
Bitcoin I believe it is going to stay but not as a currency, bitcoin will remain because of its originality and its initial support. The same thing that happened for real gold will happen for bitcoin, and only governments and countries will decide to adopt bitcoin. What do you think?!!

it seems that we are heading to complete the correction at 0.786 fib level and from the 35-days bar only three days left. finishing correction in three days would show the similar behavior as BTC's previous correction timelines. let's see if enough volume builds up to end the correction and start a new wave. be aware that if this leads to a new wave it will be a very strong one.
