Well, I'd love to see some technical indicators that say that it is the same. The only "indicator" seems to be "because people want it to be so."

Because I want you to do it yourself. Go back to 2013 and analyse it , compare different indicators etc. Make your own conclusions. I'm not a guru, just pointing out interesting ideas :)

This is all based on the assumption that 2014 is like 2013. There are numerous technical indicators that say otherwise.
