3 things can happen. Price will bounce off support and head higher after a few days Price will sit on the ledge, like its trying to get its balance, then fall off the top of a building and go down fast and hard Price will play with the support level, go down thru it and fake out traders, and bounce upwards fast - from failed moves comes fast moves. So if you play the short, keep you stop tight until the price breaks and runs down fast - don't hold long, take your profit when price runs out of steam, the daily candles will get shorter

forex gyro - price moves up and down even when its headed in one direction. Like in an uptrend, it is still moving up and down, its just that the up moves are bigger than the down moves - so math tells us its moving up.
