While minding my own business on Bitfinex on December 5th i noticed someone started buying 150BTC in 70 minute interval's ...
On December 7th i read:
The founder ... mining pool F2Pool Mao Shixing ... “shutdown price” for Antminer S9 ASIC machines mining BTC has now fallen to $3,260 ...
Bitfinex is about 100$ higher than the rest .. so i put a nice little purple line at 3360 .. anyone want to take a guess ?
Not necessarily that those 150BTC chunks are related but shure made me wonder .. someone seems desperate to keep the price up ..

Buying orders are stacking up in the 3300-3000 region (bitfinex). Breakevenpoint for (some) miners is around the same area. Every time it crawls down it jumps right up. (and the lows actually seem to rise - yellow line) This is accumulation-zone
That's clearly telling something.
...yet still people are absolutely sure it will go to 1100 or what not .. well .. not short term, maybe a quick stab down to 3000 but that's it for now. If those people would actually take a good look at previous bullruns and following bearmarkets they would notice that BTC usually doesn't fall all the way down to the previous ATH ...
Why do you think "bulls" and "bears" are fighting so much over the area we are in now ? (think about it)

little footnote for the readers that can't read between the lines .. A lot of "technical anal-ists" only look at their funny little charts, instead of watching human behaviour, the small "retail traders" and the large "whales"
THAT is what tells you what the market is going to do .. not some lagging indicators that actually only tell you what happened in the past added up with itself then divided by points added-up.

last two days, no real movement, hovering around 3700 - 3740 area. however, the whole time 2 unusually big orders 1st 'buywall' @ 3666.3 (500BTC) 2x 'buywall' @ 3570 - that's a biggie more than 1115BTC

quite unusual buywall popped up ask 2120 BTC @ 2,250$ (bitfinex) we're nowhere near that price i know there are people ('retailers') who think BTC will massively tank on short term but i find it hard to believe THAT buyer is one of them, my guess is, he's trying to trick people into selling now There are several articles showing up stating that large dormant (whale)wallets have become active lately .. think about that .. you believe those whales are waking up now to sell while market is 'plummeting' ? They now are 'afraid' BTC is gonna tank and want to sell NOW ?

@imkeshav, Thank you, most people seem to forget to look where the volume comes from (is someone dumping alot ->bad, or buying alot ->good), also looking at orderbooks can tell alot (buywalls, sellwalls, trying to get the price up or down, for what purpose?).
