Do you think the fact that is it close to the end of the month will have any influence? I know virtually nothing about futures, but I have heard others comment in the past about squeezes at the end of the month as futures have to resolve their positions before they expire. Any ideas on how that might impact the current price movement? I have NO IDEA!

@GeekMama, Well it looks like if you do some research you may discover price drops for a short period towards futures expiry and then rises for a short period after. Don't see how such insight could help with my work though. I would maybe need to be a quant expert with a Phd!

@Felix000, Aha! Thank you so much. My coding days are long behind me though I'm afraid...I doubt I could ever get back on that horse to any great effect! I have a degree in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence from an era before Satoshi himself was probably even born. It is where my interest in cryptocurrencies and other technologies stems from. I will leave it to the next generation to further these fields now though. The next generation looks much brighter. I am content to be GeekMama - the housewife hustling crypto between school runs- haha! :) Thanks again for sharing your knowledge.

@GeekMama, Yes maybe, but it has never been easier for the younger generation to learn this stuff for free. You can share it with others. Here is what I'm working on at the minute. Won't know until the end of the week whether the set up will be in play for next week or not. I used my 3 MACD histograms and boxed in white squares all those areas where all three were green for at least two weeks, and did same for reds. I then picked all the greens that had MSCD & Signal Line above zero. I then looked for one where the following week went from red bar to green bar and there was only one that fitted the bill. CAVEAT: small sample. NOT ADVICE. DYOR
