@DrStein, interesting. but that indicator never predicted anything in the future. it was fitted retroactively to previous data.

@simplejoe1, indicators are just indicators and their effectiveness might fluctuate in time. Nothing can predict the future in any market with 100% accuracy. Fibs, RSIs, MACDs, MAs, Ichimoku cloud, oscillators, candles...all these indicators TRY to predict what will happen in the future or how the fractal will respond to the demand and supply of the market. With that being said, Pi cycle indicator is so valid just like any other indicator, it's just two MAs. Philip Swift found out in 2019 that when the Pi cycle MAs cross then after 3 days the bull cycle ends. And this happened not just once but 3 times in a row since 2013 (two bull runs in 2013 and one in 2017). Nobody claims that this will always work or "predict" the end of the cycle but now in 2021 the Pi cycle's signal worked again and exactly 3 days after the cross (12/4) the price begun to drop (15/4). These last days, the heavy market manipulation changed the dynamics and the pi cycle MAs crossed again, showing that the bull run might continue...but not for long imho. So let's see what will happen if and when the MAs cross again. I am not an expert at TA or a pro trader. I am just a hobbyist trader and I would love to know other opinions about the pi cycle.
