The gold fork will happen on the 25th but this is a small fork compared to segwit2x. We should see a push up to around 6500-6800 and then a sudden decline on the 25th-26th. This will indicate the start of a new cycle. This new cycle will work up towards a new ATH for the segwit2x fork, which is happening at block 494784 which will be mid November. Expect a drive from the depression caused by the gold fork to an ATH of what I would expect to be nearer 8-9k but let’s see how things unfold as it is hard to predict the end of the cycle at this stage.
