Hi Peter: Great job! I recommend you use de BNC:BLX Bitcoin index for future trend analysis, so you include de June 2011 peak of $31.50, which would turn this linear peaks trend into a curve, lowering your target from 400K to some 90K

@cucarachanet, 150k got so super unrealistic in the current events of sliding trough every resistance, i made my bet on somewhere between 48-60k, and that's alrdy pretty optimistic. the last time bitcoin did this was the time only couple of hours before the big dips.
taking the 2011 peak into account, this whole idea doesn't make sense anymore and strengthens the idea of a highly speculative max between 70-90k.

@cucarachanet, I agree, just eyeballing this chart, it looks like the first advance was bigger than the second, and so far the third is shallower than the second. That all makes sense over the long-term too, so your 90K seems much more realistic for the next 12-24 months. Still a very good investment IMO.

@cucarachanet, I agree with this except for one key fundamental. The USD, which we use to valuate btc, is being printed at an increasingly high rate; even higher than the QE post the 2008 crash. This could alter the trajectory and make it a more linear increase, or perhaps even move the curvature in the other direction.
