Flipping Bearish Isn't Easy  Short

Bitcoin / U.S. dollarBitstamp

Description

In this video, I explain why I've become more bearish on the cryptocurrency market. I also talk a little about stocks, Microstrategy, and about bubble-like behavior. Of course, there is always the possibility that my bearish view will get invalidated. It took a lot for me to get here, so perhaps the market has just broken me :) It wasn't easy for me to become bearish, hence the title. I've been in the market for 4 years, so letting go does not come lightly for me. Perhaps this proves that the market will make EVERYONE truly question it at some point. On top of the technicals, I did write a post recently why I am fundamentally skeptical of cryptocurrencies in their PRESENT state. That post is linked below.

These are my opinions and thoughts only - they are not meant as financial advice.

Thank you for watching!

With the UO this low, and touching the bottom of this channel, it's possible TOTAL shows a bounce here. Breaking below the channel would be horrible. Sentiment is already so low, so I guess we'll see.

Crackhead talk, doesn’t like that big players are now in bitcoin and that’s exactly what we need for bitcoin to be mass adopted. Your holding on to trades based on emotions and “liking” certain people. Hate to break it to you but the whole world is going to accept bitcoin one day and Saylor may just be one of the earlier institutions. Watching the clown show people turning bearish is informing me that buying time is near

@rektordrew, But what if….the crowd is actually right?? You don’t want to be the last “crackhead” screaming on a hill do you?

Just giving you crap, honestly. But I don’t trust anyone who speaks in absolutes. No one knows what the future will bring.

@simsdop, It has.

Nice video bud. Gotta keep the emotion of out it and just follow the market. The trend is still bearish until price action tells us otherwise 👍

Hey man, you mentioned Michael Saylor scammed many people during the dot com bubble, can you go more into how he did that? Cheers!

@phillchesh, Here's a newsweek article from 2001: newsweek.com/confessions-crash-153687
Additionally, here's Cryptowhale's post about it. Crypto Whale is generally pretty skeptical of the crypto market (so not an unbiased opinion), but I do think they have some valid concerns. It's interesting to see different perspectives, anyway. cryptowhale.medium.com/heres-why-michael-saylor-is-bitcoin-s-ultimate-snake-oil-salesman-fa75b0691761

@VictorCobra, Awesome!! Im very much a bull, so i try and find differences in my opinion. Finding people to challenge is difficult when everyone is scarred. Thank you for your posts. Its very interesting watching your content and your sentiments during this time.
